Job Summary: As a Robotic Weld Operator I at LogistiQ, A Division of LEWCO, you will be a part of our Weld Operations team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating and maintaining a robotic welder to ensure accurate and efficient welding operations while maintaining a high level of quality and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Operate robotic welding equipment to perform welding tasks of basic company parts made of carbon steel.
- Interpret mechanical drawings including weld symbols.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on robotic welding equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections of welded joints to ensure quality standards.
- Document and maintain accurate records of welding activities.
- Monitor and control the robotic welding process.
- Program robotic welding systems.
- Set up and prepare robotic welding equipment for operation.
- Use measurement tools, such as calipers or gauges.
- Use hand and power tools as required to complete work.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Travel Demands:

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Owns required personal hand tools.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings and weld symbols preferred.
- Ability to read calibration equipment preferred.
- Able to pass math and measurement assessment.
- Basic reading and writing skills in the English language.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Able to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals.
- Able to read a tape measure within 1/16”.
- Basic data entry skills including how to print documents.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Successful completion of 60-day probationary period.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- High school welding GMAW (MIG) certificate preferred.
- One year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
