Essential Functions :
- Responsible for planning and determining the distribution and positioning of supplies; tracking of quantity, source and type of supplies; and conducting daily count of supplies.
- The Inventory Specialist will perform technical warehouse shipping and physical receiving, and some clerical duties in combination with ongoing supply activities.
- The work also involves analytical work in managing, regulating, coordinating or otherwise exercising control over supplies, equipment, or other warehoused material.
- Must have five (5) years of supervisory experience in similar warehouse services. Experience shall have been obtained within the last 10 years.
- Shall be knowledgeable and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office application software such as : Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook .
- possess the skills to supervise, administratively maintain files, generate reports with SDC supplied software, request appropriate warehouse supplies, keep timecards, and ensure compliance with the OSHA safety requirements and internal SDC safety program.
- Will remain on site while the effort is being performed.
- Supervisor shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all matters relating to the daily activity requirements to include coordinating with the COR in performing work on individual task orders, managing and assigning work to contract employees; and managing contract employee's leave, schedules, timecards, etc.
