Automotive Locksmith

Overview

Loksafe Services is looking for an experienced Automotive Locksmith Technician. Founded in 1992, Loksafe has been serving the area for over 30 years. As we continue to grow, we are adding to our professional and knowledgeable team of Technicians.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Represent Loksafe in a professional and courteous manner

· Follow Company policies and procedures regarding customers and processes

· Meet goals without supervision

· Maintain organization and meet deadlines

· Maintain equipment and inventory within an assigned company vehicle

· Accurately submit photos, invoices, and work orders into a field services app on a timely basis

· Car key replacement and key-fob programming

· Originating automotive keys from scratch

· Cutting and duplicating keys with various machines

· Service, replace, or rekey all automotive locks

· Install, repair, or replace various types of car ignitions

· Emergency lockout service

Requirements

· Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Automotive Locksmithing

· Able to pass pre-employment drug screen

· Have a high-school diploma or equivalent

· Able to pass a federal background check

· Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

· Have comprehensive experience with foreign and domestic vehicle systems.

· Have knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication and transponder programming

· Have ignition removal experience

· Have 2 years Lishi experience minimum

· Demonstrated proficiency with Lishi tools and related locksmith equipment

· Have “All Keys Lost” experience

· Able to work outside in both hot and cold temperatures

· Ethical conduct, integrity, and punctuality

· Detail-oriented and a team player

· Maintain annual education and accreditation requirements

· Have basic computer experience, typing skills, and comfortable using various technology (phones, tablets, cameras, etc.)

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Have strong electrical diagnostic skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
