JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The House Management position performs custodial work with in our facility areas and other building interiors.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
- Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blinds.
- Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas. May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
- May also sweep walks, rake leaves, clean any area needed or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.

Supervisory Responsibility
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.
Work Environment
The janitor performs their work in a Playground setting. While primarily responsible for the cleaning of common areas, waiting areas and the playground.
Physical Demands
Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves continually during working hours. Is subject to lifting over 50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time/Part-Time position, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary on a rotating basis.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma
- Prior or Related experience a plus
