What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fashion Wholesale Account Executive position at Lola Hats?
Lola Hats is an artisanal hat design and manufacturing studio located in the heart of Bushwick, Brooklyn. We are on the lookout for a spirited, enthusiastic fashionista who thrives on making connections and fostering meaningful business partnerships.
As an integral part of our close-knit team, you will play a key role in driving our operations forward. We’re seeking a candidate with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ambition, ready to embrace challenges and contribute to our vibrant culture. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Work closely with the CEO/designer to grow and manage Lola Hats wholesale business (200 accounts)
- Prepare for market/trade shows, set appointments and present the collection to buyers (this involves some travel and carrying heavy equipment)
- Create and send order confirmations after market
- Communicate with production team to ensure orders are being shipped to accounts on a timely basis
- Maintain showroom selling space
- Analyze weekly selling from department stores and work with buyers to improve sales
- Research and develop new accounts that are in alignment with our brand’s philosophy
- Working closely with ecommerce team member to ensure continuity between 3rd party vendors and our own retail shop
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 2 years prior experience in similar role
- Ability to travel
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, MS Word, Outlook. Photoshop highly encouraged
- Effective presentation and communication skills. Comfortable communicating with customers daily, via phone, email, and in person
- The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- An entrepreneurial spirit
- Must work well within a team environment and be able to work independently as well. No job should be considered too small
- Ability to set up/take down booths for trade shows, arranging displays, and merchandising products. This may include carrying weight up to 40lbs
- Must look good wearing hats
