Infant Assistant Teacher - Lolo’s Learning Center
Job Summary: Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of young children? Lolo’s Learning Center is looking for a patient and compassionate Infant Assistant Teacher who has a passion for Jesus and children. The Assistant Teacher will support the Lead Teacher in implementing developmentally-appropriate activities that encourage healthy physical, social, and emotional development for infants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and supporting the curriculum.
- Foster a classroom environment of safety, respect, and love.
- Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe.
- Serve snacks and meals throughout the day, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Assist with diaper changes and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Maintain daily child attendance logs and ensure regular observation of infants throughout the year.
- Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
- Attend staff meetings and complete required hours of in-service training per school year.
- Ensure familiarity with state regulations and Lolo’s Learning Center policies
- Support the Lead Teacher in all classroom activities and responsibilities.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift and carry forty pounds.
- Health and Safety Initial Training.
- CPR & First Aid Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CDA Child Development Associate Certificate.
- Experience working with infants.

Pay: $11.78 - $15.00 per hour
