What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Assistant Teacher position at Theo's Theory Preschool and Childcare?
We are searching for a nurturing Infant/ Toddler float teacher to ensure that the basic and educational needs of our students are met.
As an Infant/toddler float teacher you will fallow and maintain the schedules for each individual schedule as well as, progressing the development sages each child is on.
Infant Teacher Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering lessons designed to facilitate students' social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate with parents through Procare app - feeding, sleep and diaper changes.
- Encouraging self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement.
- Tending to students' basic needs by feeding and dressing them.
- Modeling appropriate behaviors, even when not on duty.
- Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times.
- Attending staff meetings.
Qualifications
- Experience with children in a childcare or classroom setting
- Familiarity with toddler or infant care
- First aid certification preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management
- Ability to manage a classroom and work with students effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
