ABA Specialist

Position Title: ABA Specialist or Behavioral Technician/Therapist

Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Location: San Bernardino, CA

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions (i.e. DTT, NET, etc.) to children with disabilities in a 1:1 setting in the home, school, and community
• Utilize a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arragements
• Collect accurate & reliable data for skill acquisition and problem behaviors
• Address problematic behaviors in accordance with Professional Crisis Management Association
• Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols
• Follow ethical standards regarding behavioral modification
• Collect, record and summarize data on observable client behavior
• Attend sessions at scheduled times
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Collaborate with team members and maintain ongoing communication

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• AA Degree preferred
• 6 months' experience in ABA preferred
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with both clients and colleagues
• Flexibility to respond to changing circumstances and priorities within the agency
• Knowledge and use of computers and an Electronic Health Record (EHR)
