The Department of Surgery at Loma Linda University Health, located in Loma Linda, California, seeks to hire a full-time Vascular Surgeon at the assistant professor level. The Division of Vascular Surgery is a comprehensive academic program including an integrated residency in vascular surgery, an independent fellowship program, opportunities for basic and clinical research, an active clinical service as well as affiliations with the Riverside University Health System and Veterans Administration hospital in Loma Linda, California.
The faculty have access to angiography suites in both the Interventional Radiology and Cardiology laboratories and two hybrid operating rooms. The faculty also direct both inpatient and outpatient non-invasive vascular laboratories. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive vascular care, including arterial and venous interventions, dialysis access creation and maintenance, and interpretation of vascular lab studies. This position offers the opportunity to practice the full spectrum of vascular surgery in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Expected responsibilities include :
- Teaching
- Clinical care, both inpatient and outpatient
- Research relating to vascular disease
This individual will work collaboratively with all faculty and administration members.
Minimum Qualifications :
Qualified candidates must possess a Medical Degree and be board-eligible for certification by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery. Candidates must show a desire to participate in all aspects of academic surgery including research, teaching, and clinical production. The applicant must be able to obtain a California Medical License and a California Fluoroscopy Operator’s Permit before the start date. All candidates must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.
