Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during dental procedures, including preparing the work area and patients for treatment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as preparing dental impressions.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Provide support to dental staff in various administrative tasks.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assistant program preferred.
- Certified EFDA or EDDA with X-ray certification.
- CPR certification.
- Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant in a dental office.
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Pay: $20-24/hr depending on experience
