We are currently seeking a full time Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position will primarily work at our Gessner location but must be willing to travel to our Copperfield location to help cover staffing shortages.

Position Summary: Provides personalized banking services to financial institution customers by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

· Evaluates needs of potential customers and offers appropriate financial products and services.

· Prepares and compiles new customer application and information to open new account.

· Updates and inputs new account information, updated customer information & any required changes, daily.

· Provides ongoing relationship servicing with current customers to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.

· Informs and advises customers of status or enhancements to current account productivity and suggests resolution on account disputes and other account activity.

· Responds to customer inquiries and requests regarding new and current accounts, products & services

· Monitor and Update Exceptions on New Accounts

· Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services as appropriate to customer needs.

· Handles Paying / Receiving Teller Functions such as

  • Cashes checks and pays out cash after verification of signatures & customer balances
  • Receives checks and cash for deposit, from customers or night drop, verifying all points of negotiation for checks
  • Enters customers transactions into system, issues receipts
  • Places Regulation CC holds as needed
  • Assists in verifying cash deliveries
  • Accepts and processes loan payments
  • Scans daily teller work
  • Scans and reviews New Account/Customer Information documents

· Generates routine office correspondence.

· Scanning Daily Teller Work for Processing

· Scan and Review New Account / Customer Documents

· Training of new employees on new account opening, maintenance, and teller transactions

· Check, Separate and Distribute mail

· Log in Mail Deposits and Loan Payments

· Handle Incoming / Outgoing Wires – Completing Wire Transfer Request Forms, processing the Debit / Credit to customer’s account and performing OFAC checks.

· Handle safe deposit box customer service (if applicable)

· Customer Service – assisting customers and answering telephone calls.

· Handle projects assigned by Managers.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
