Duties
- Answer patient billing phone calls professionally and courteously and ensure all voicemails are returned within 24 hours.
- Call all scheduled appointments with past balances and work out a payment agreement.
- Will post both insurance and patient payments to the EMR accurately.
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and EHR software is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
