As a part-time care provider, you are free to only pick up jobs that fit your schedule, and decline the ones that don't.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in meaningful conversations, listen attentively, and participate in activities the client enjoys, such as reading, playing games, or going for walks.
- Remind the client to take their medications as prescribed.
- Communicate regularly with family members to provide updates on the client's condition and any concerns that may arise.
Requirements
- Prior experience in companion care or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus
- Strong communication skills and patience when interacting with elderly
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
