The Financial Reporting Analyst I works with management to compile and compute risk factors associated in determining the calculation for the allowance for loan & lease losses (ALLL) and concentrations of credit.

- Implements improvements of data collection, analysis and reporting related to ALLL
- Makes recommendations regarding industry best practices associated with concentration of credit by collateral
- Prepares monthly reconciliations of OREO and the booking of foreclosures
- Participates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary
- Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy
- Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations
- Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field
- At least one year of experience with credit analysis, workout loans and loan funding documentation and work processes at a financial institution (two or more years are preferred)
- Basic understanding of loan documentation
- Strong personal computer and software applications knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot reporting and loan software problems
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Good telephone, customer relations, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and acute mental concentration for accurately performing tasks and handling frequent interruptions
- Confidentiality of employee and client information
- Ability to sit, stand and view monitor screen for long periods of time
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired
ORGANIZATION
This position reports to the Financial Reporting Manager
This position does not oversee other positions
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
All employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function. In all situations, employees must ensure that their actions fully comply with all federal banking laws and regulations, including internal bank policies and procedures. Failure to adhere to these requirements will be grounds for disciplinary action, including probation and possible termination.
