Overview
We are seeking a talented Outside Sales/Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in selling concrete pumping / material placement equipment services throughout Montana and Idaho. This Individual will also be responsible for recruiting top talent to drive our organization's success.
Lonesome Dove is an established material placement company, running an expanding fleet of modern Putzmeister concrete boom pumps and equipment. Ranging from 28m up to 58m pumps, Line pumps, a TB130 Telebelt, and Gravel Shooters. On an expanding and changing marketplace, we service both residential and commercial projects.
Outside Sales Responsibilities
- Gain knowledge of equipment specification, availability, equipment repair status.
- Answer incoming calls and effectively engage customers both on the phone and in person
- Discuss customer needs and suggest suitable and safe equipment for the application
- Successfully negotiate rental rates and pricing to achieve optimal profitability
- Make realistic commitments, and communicate with customers and/or sales reps if deviations from the original commitment occur
- Work with customers in a professional manner
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- Must have a team-player attitude and the ability to work well with all levels of personnel
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision
- College education preferred
- Knowledge of construction equipment is preferred
Recruiting Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes from sourcing to onboarding
- Utilize talent management strategies to attract and retain high-caliber candidates
- Conduct campus recruitment events and career fairs
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Communicate effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process
- Build strong employee relations through effective communication and support
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Physical demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. per day
- Must be willing to occasionally work in harsh temperatures and environments

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
