Job Title: Repair and Maintenance Manager
Pay Details: $50K to $55K Plus Bonus & PTO (Annually)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Repair and Maintenance Manager to oversee all repair and maintenance operations within our organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and facilities remain in optimal working condition. You will develop and implement maintenance strategies, coordinate repairs, manage preventive maintenance programs, and oversee a team of technicians. Additionally, you will manage spare parts inventory and ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Prioritize and delegate repair and maintenance tasks based on urgency, safety concerns, and operational needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize operational disruptions.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address potential issues proactively.
- Supervise and monitor the progress of maintenance projects, ensuring work quality and adherence to deadlines.
- Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.
- Develop and enforce a preventive maintenance program to reduce equipment failures and extend operational lifespan.
- Establish and maintain maintenance schedules for inspections, lubrication, calibration, and other preventive tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspection reports, work orders, and equipment histories.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance practices and reduce downtime.
- Manage and monitor the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and cost efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff, ensuring the development of technical skills and adherence to best practices.
Core Maintenance Areas:
- HVAC: Manage HVAC system upkeep by scheduling routine preventive maintenance and timely condenser replacements. Ensure optimal system efficiency through regular inspections, filter changes, and performance assessments. Coordinate with technicians to address issues proactively and minimize downtime.
- Plumbing: Supervise and support repairs, including clogged drains, toilet replacements, sink installations, and lift station maintenance.
- Electrical: Oversee electrical maintenance, including breaker replacements, outlet repairs, lighting replacements, and LED sign troubleshooting.
- Fuel Systems: Ensure proper maintenance of pumps, including nozzle changes and spill bucket upkeep.
- Car Wash Systems: Manage the maintenance of motors, gears, bearings, brushes, power packs, reclaim systems, and other car wash equipment.
- General Repairs: Handle additional handyman repairs as required to maintain facility standards.
