Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Salesperson to join our team at the LBIF, a non-profit 501c3 organization on LBI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling advertising opportunities, sponsorships, or possible services for B2B. LBIF is an educational and cultural organization that promotes the arts and sciences, for all age groups, year-round.

This sales position, selling advertising and sponsorship opportunities to businesses, helps support our unique institution. As a part-time position with the busiest period for sales as February through May, this position is ideal for someone who is recently retired yet is looking for new challenges within the business community. Candidates must live within a 45-minute commute to our location.
Job Summary
As an Advertising Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling advertising space and marketing opportunities to businesses. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and target markets
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Develop and implement sales strategies-
- Manage accounts by providing excellent customer service and addressing client needs
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling advertising campaigns
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in advertising or related field
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proficiency in account management
- Familiarity with advertising
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, verbal and writing skills
Duties-
- Collaborate with the inside team to ensure customer satisfaction. The individual must be highly detail oriented and meet critical deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or a similar field
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ideally the candidate has experience working within the non-profit sector, enjoys the arts and eco-sciences.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
