The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences (LBIF) is seeking an Office Manager with a strong background in business, finance, accounting and management. The candidate must be able to work independently to oversee the office, financial and administrative needs of the organization, and work closely with our small staff team. In this role, you’ll play an important role in our organization’s operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and reporting, and increase the organization's efficiency.
The duties include oversight and management of the office workflow. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, work well and support other staff members, and provide excellent customer service. Maintaining standard accounting procedures is very important. The candidate must be able to manage tracking of income and expenditure accounts, payroll, track employee expenditures, and general administrative responsibilities. Skills that are a must are MS Office and Quickbooks Online, familiarity with POS programs, and ADP Payroll. Experience in membership relations and community outreach are also of interest, as is the ability to wear multiple hats and multi-task, especially during our busy summer season.
The position requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or any other related field. Senior level financial management experience is a plus.
The candidate must be able to start immediately and be available to work three to five days a week on a part-time basis. Typically, from June to September, this position can be up to 40 hours per week. From October through May, this position can be up to 28 hours per week. This is an ideal position for a person who desires flexible work hours. Salary commensurate with experience. The candidate must live within a 30-minute commute to the LBIF.

· Qualification: Office management / Finance
· Knowledge of QuickBooks and MS Office Suite is required. Salesforce CRM is a plus
· Previous accounting experience is required.
· Must be able to supervise others in POS systems used
· Well organized with exceptional attention to financial details
· Willingness to be available for occasional evening and weekend events.
· Good communication skills and a supportive team member
