POSITION PURPOSE
As an Accounts Payable Specialist 2, you will play a key role in the financial operations of our organization by managing accounts payable processes with precision and efficiency. Leveraging your experience in accounts payable, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors. In this role, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Compensation Range: $23.80 - $30.16 per hr. plus potential profit share.

- Matches invoices received against Purchase Orders
- Opens mail, upload invoices to Core Integrator
- Reviews vendor statements
- Assists in 1099 preparation
- Reviews invoices and verifies coding and use taxes for accuracy
- Purchasing Card Administration
- Research and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile interdepartmental invoices and stale dated checks
- Processing and distributing checks
- Other duties as assigned.

- Associates degree in Accounting or related field or 4 years related experience
- 1-2 years experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist
- Respect for a high level of confidentiality and willingness to accept responsibility and accountability
- Innovative and analytical skills, as well as and strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in team environment and interact with all levels of personnel, including upper management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and pay close attention to detail
- Experience with Core Integrator
- Proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with use tax
- Proficiency with Microsoft GP Dynamics, CRM, or other Accounting Software
