Primary Job Duties
- Serve food and beverages to patrons.
- Upsell/Offer drinks and other menu items to guests.
- Clear and reset used tables.
- Check in with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals, and take corrective action to any problems.
- Present and explain menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
- Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware. Roll silverware, set up dining areas.
- Assist by answering phones to take reservations and to-go orders, and by greeting, seating, and thanking guests.
- Fill salt, pepper, sauce, condiment, and napkin containers.
- Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
- Continuously do sidework to complete it by end of shift.
Qualifications
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- A passion for providing exceptional guest service
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Be organized and able to consolidate and coordinate needs for all tables within their station
