About the role:
The Event Marketing Representative is responsible for securing in-home appointments with potential customers by representing Long Home at various community events, such as home shows and local, county and state fairs. Event Marketing Representatives engage event attendees through compelling conversations and product demonstrations, converting these interactions into scheduled consultations. This position is responsible for identifying qualified homeowners, effectively communicating Long Home’s home improvement solutions and scheduling appointments for our sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Actively engage with event attendees to schedule in-home consultations for Long Home products and services.
- Execute proper booth setup and breakdown procedures while maintaining a professional and attractive display.
- Represent the company professionally at assigned events including fairs, home shows, and community gatherings.
- Process and submit leads to dispatch immediately for same-day or next-day appointments.
- Document and report any customer feedback or concerns to Field Marketing Events Manager or Field Marketing Events Regional Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Record accurate clock in/clock out times and follow time clock procedures.
- Utilize event tech tools, including lead capture and registration systems, ensuring effective data collection and event engagement.
- Participate in all team and 1:1 coaching sessions, meetings and trainings
- Work with management to create effective strategies for improving appointment conversion rates.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Skills:
In this role, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and vendors. Your strong organizational and time management skills will be critical to managing multiple tasks simultaneously and ensuring the success of each event. You will also use your attention to detail to ensure that all aspects of each event are executed flawlessly. Additionally, your ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines will be essential to your success in this role. Finally, your experience with event management software and customer-facing roles will be beneficial in this position.
