About the Role:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for always ensuring the safety and organization of the warehouse. This includes receiving all orders, reviewing them, and notifying the scheduling team when all items required for a project are available and can be scheduled. All jobs should be staged at least one day in advance of the installation date.

Responsibilities:

• Manage branch fleet maintenance (oil changes, gas cards, maintenance, inspections).
• Manage deliveries and inspect the integrity of the product.
• Updating the system to reflect the material received.
• Maintain a warehouse system for storing materials.
• Manage the staging of orders for crew pick-up the day before installation.
• Manage cleanliness and security of the warehouse and outside areas.
• Manage inventory of stock installation and service materials.
• Collection of subcontractor and service technician completion paperwork.
• Manage dumpster usage and schedule pick-ups when full.
• Assists crews with restocking of branding items and supplies.
• Communicate with the Graphic Designer to order branding and safety items.
• Manage the warehouse's general maintenance and facilities support.
• Manage, support, and train all Warehouse Associates.
• Bi-weekly management of payroll and time off requests to ensure adequate staffing levels meet the company needs of all Warehouse Associates.
• Provide verbal and written performance feedback, including annual performance reviews, and follow the Long Home disciplinary action process, when applicable.
• Maintain an environment that embodies the company’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Remain in compliance and up to date on all company-wide live and digital training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse management, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with inventory control software and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

Skills:

In this role, your skills in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, order picking, WMS, inventory control, warehouse management, supply chain operations, and center coordination will be put to use on a daily basis. You will be responsible for optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring accurate and timely shipment processing, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating with the center for efficient delivery. Your strong organizational and time management skills will be essential in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Additionally, your leadership and communication skills will be crucial in effectively managing a team and collaborating with other departments. Overall, your skills will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facility.
