What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Golf Instructor at Golf Camp position at Long Island Golf Camps?
The qualified candidate for the position of Main Golf Camp Counselor would need to have 2 years of golf instruction experience at a golf course, a golf driving range, or coaching a golf team at the High School or College level. It would be preferred if the candidate has experience either teaching golf to children or supervising children in a school, camp or day care setting.
For Assistant Counselor positions, the candidate must be 18 years or older and have played golf on a team at the High School or College level.
The positions for Golf Camp Counselors require the candidate to be available to work the months of July and August in the Long Island, NY area. Work hours will be from 9:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday, or if hired at a half day camp, from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Compensation is between $550 and $850 per week depending on location and experience for a full day camp and $250-300 for a half day camp.
