Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports and physical education, with the ability to engage and educate students in various activities. This role requires an individual who is enthusiastic about teaching and has the skills necessary to inspire students in their physical development and sportsmanship.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote skill development in sports and physical activities.
- Instruct students in various disciplines such as basketball, karate, cheerleading, swimming, climbing, and general physical education.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and fosters teamwork.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Organize and lead practice sessions, drills, and competitions to enhance student performance.
- Collaborate with other instructors to coordinate events, workshops, or classes that promote physical fitness.
- Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe environment for all participants.
Experience
- Previous experience in sports coaching or physical education is preferred.
- Skills in specific areas such as basketball, lifeguarding, karate, swimming, cheerleading, climbing, or gym activities are highly desirable.
- A background in educating youth or adults in physical activities is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of varying skill levels.
- Certification in relevant areas (e.g., lifeguard certification) is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.16 - $19.39 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
