Long Island Select Healthcare Inc. (LISH) is a comprehensive network of community health centers under a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) model. We provide Article 16 and 28 clinic services at 3 locations across Suffolk County, New York.
LISH is currently searching for a Psychologist. We are able to offer part-time or full-time hours. We are looking for compassionate, energetic individuals who will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced clinical staff. Experience with the intellectually & developmentally disabled population is strongly preferred. Experience with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and I / DD population, experience administering ADOS and ADI-R, preferred and / or the ability to conduct Neuropsychological Evaluations is strongly desired. Job Responsibilities :
- Conducts mental health intake evaluations
- Completes Psychological Evaluations & other clinical assessments
- Completes psychosocial evaluations
- Provides individual, couple & group counseling
- Provides crisis counseling
- Provides CBT and other evidence based treatment
- Consults with patient's collaterals (e.g. parents, siblings, direct care providers, other clinicians
- Provides referrals and case management services
