Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Description:
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically and conduct comprehensive in-person assessments on each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure web portal.
The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, using findings recorded in the DBQs.
This is an IN-PERSON position, where you will review and assess 4 Veterans per day on average.
Requirements:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school.
- An active and unrestricted Psychology license.
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
