What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Long Term Care Facility?
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing the facility’s day-to-day maintenance functions, including ensuring facility policies and standards are met, and promoting positive relationships within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed budget expectations
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
- General up keeping of the buildings
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify any issues or potential problems
- Responsible for correcting any known life safety hazards outside
- Perform a service request correctly in a timely manor
Skills
- At least 2 years Maintenace experience in a nursing home setting is preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
- Knowledge of life safety regulations and guidelines
- Certified in HVAC is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
