Front Desk Research Assistant
As a Front Desk Research Assistant at Arch Clinical Trials, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and participants while also supporting the research team in conducting psychiatric clinical trials. Your role will combine receptionist duties with research assistant responsibilities, helping to ensure the smooth operation of the front office and the clinical trial process.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:
- Greet visitors and participants, directing them to the appropriate staff or research team members.
- Answer and route phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries from participants, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors.
- Manage conference room bookings and stock supplies for common areas, including the kitchen and conference rooms.
Research Assistant Support:
- Update and maintain participant visit schedules using database to ensure accurate documentation of visits.
- Process participant stipends or reimbursements, maintaining up-to-date payment records.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining shared folders for study documents, protocols, and research materials.
- File and maintain regulatory binders, ensuring documents are current and ready for audits or inspections.
- Assist with the scheduling and coordination of participant visits, including arranging transportation if necessary.
- Help prepare and submit regulatory documents to the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain confidentiality of participant information and research data.
- Collaborate with the research team to ensure the smooth conduct of clinical trials and adherence to timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or the specific field of study (e.g., psychology, public health, or social sciences) or relevant (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.76 - $16.49 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
