Job Description
This Help Desk Technician will provide on-site support in our Houston, TX office Monday- Friday 9:00am -5:00pm. Additionally, you provided remote support to our branches in North Carolina and New Jersey, and other remote users.
Primary Job Duties:
- Provide support for all IT products and services which may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and instructing customers regarding software or hardware
- Answer IT tickets in a timely manner
- Prepare and ship applicable equipment to new hires
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Recent college graduate with a degree in Computer Information Science or 1-2 years of experience in a Helpdesk Support position
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and non-technical communication skills
- Local and remote end-user system troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Windows 10/11 Desktop/Workstation Operating Systems
- Office 365
- Exchange Online
- Office desktop application suite
- Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Some knowledge of installation, configuration, reimaging, and support of computer systems hardware and software. Including peripheral devices and accessories
- Familiarity installing and troubleshooting multifunction printers
- Customer service oriented
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Good planning and organizing skills
- Ability to handle stress and deliver positive service
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies
- Proactive thinker with attention to details
- Working outside normal business hours may occasionally be required
- Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Intune
- General knowledge of OneDrive / SharePoint, Virus/Malware/Spyware diagnostic removal techniques
