What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - Law Clerk position at Longevity Holdings?
The Longevity Holdings legal team is excited to announce an opening for a Law Clerk. This is a part-time hourly position, currently in a hybrid capacity. The Law Clerk (pursuant to their school’s internship program) may receive academic credit.
In this role, you will be reviewing, drafting and editing contracts and agreements. You will also conduct and compile legal research regarding a variety of topics related to life insurance, data privacy and security, state licensing, and various contract provisions.
Required Skills:
Completion of a minimum of one year of law school
Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
Excellent presentation and communications skills
Demonstrates strong performance in legal writing
Ability to handle multiple projects and a demanding workload, while meeting tight deadlines
Proficient at legal research
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work effectively independently and with a team
