Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation and advice to clients charged with crimes.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings and motions with precision and clarity.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case preparation and strategy development.
- Attend court hearings and client meetings as required.
- Maintain accurate records of case files and client communications within the legal administrative framework of the firm.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred but not mandatory; internships or clerkships will be considered.
- Strong writing skills with experience in legal drafting across various practice areas.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct effective legal research using various resources.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
