Summary
We are hiring an experienced Bicycle Sales Associate. Pay range is based on experience level. We sell both eBikes and traditional bicycles. You will help customers by listening to their needs and goals, educating them on products and services, answering questions and guiding them to bicycles, accessories and services that best suit them. You will focus on exceeding customer expectations and sales goals, while working systems that are in place to support your success. A passion for cycling, a knowledge of bicycles, and a proactive and positive attitude are qualities at the top of our list!
We love what we do and have fun doing it at our shop. That said, it's hard work and is fast paced. The following list is a must for all new hires :
- You must be a team player, but also able to work independently
- You must be a good communicator, dedicated to offering excellent customer service and maintaining open and positive relations with customers and coworkers
- You must be positive, a good listener and have a lot of patience
- You must be interested and willing to spend time on continuing education to further develop skills and knowledge (provided by our shop)
- You must enjoy educating others and building relationships
- You must be able to keep up in an energetic environment that can sometimes feel hectic and chaotic
- You must be willing to roll up your sleeves, lend a hand to colleagues and do what's necessary to get the job done
- You must be thorough, detail oriented, and a problem solver
- You must be self motivated, proactive, adaptable, dependable and reliable
- You must have a good sense of humor and zest for adventure
