Treatment Plan Coordinator
A well-established oral & maxillofacial surgery practice is seeking a compassionate and dynamic professional to join our oral surgery team as our Front Office Treatment Plan Coordinator. A qualified candidate will have extensive customer service experience with the ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining great attention to detail with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service while greeting patients and checking them in for their scheduled procedures.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and accurately schedule appointments, evaluations, and procedures. Appropriately route the call to the correct staff member as needed.
- Verify insurance plans for eligibility of benefits specific to the procedure for all new and existing patients.
- Create and confidently present accurate treatment plans based on routed information and insurance guidelines that may apply to a patient’s treatment. Educate patients on their individual coverage and associated fees with their treatment in our office.
- Manage new patient paperwork by ensuring completion and accuracy prior to the appointment.
- Prepare and send daily claim submissions with the appropriate supporting documentation. Completion of end of day reports.
- Assist with referral management by coordinating with the referring office as needed and ensuring all treatment letters are completed and routed to the correct referring dentist each day.
- Other duties as assigned.
Desired qualifications

- Possess honesty and strong moral principles while always maintaining focus on patient care.
- Proven ability to thrive in a busy environment and maintain accuracy to details .
- An Associate’s Degree in business or medical related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- May be required to lift up to 20lbs.
- Active movement throughout the day: sitting, walking, standing, squatting, bending, stooping, reaching, etc. (not a sedentary position).
- Vision: close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Hearing: able to satisfactorily communicate with patients, doctor, and other staff members to ensure that verbal communication is clearly understood, or a satisfactorily-equivalent method of communication.
- Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or operate equipment.
- May be required to administer CPR.
- Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and radiation.
- Exposure to moderate noise levels and fast-paced, high anxiety environments.
