Primary Responsibilities for this CMA position include:
- Greet, direct, and schedule patients
- Refer patients to different offices
- Communicate with insurance companies, nurses, and physicians about treatments
- Obtain referrals through an online referral system or by phone
- Obtain medical records and send them to the appropriate facility/provider
Experience/Education
- A working knowledge of electric billing and medical records system
- Prior experience in a Medical Providers Office
- Previous Referral Coordinator experience is a plus
- EPIC experience is a plus
