Admissions Assistant
A Skilled Nursing & Rehab facility located in Miami, FL is seeking a full-time experienced Admissions Assistant to join the team!
Position Summary
The Admissions Assistant will manage the facility’s admissions process and provide customers with facility-related information via facility tours, personal visits, assessments, follow-up, etc. Assist Marketing Director in achieving facility’s census and quality mix goals.
Responsibilities of the Admissions Assistant:
- Greet office visitors in a friendly and professional manor.
- Assist potential residents and their families by conducting tours of the Facility and answer questions regarding the facility and admissions process.
- At the time of admission, meet with the resident and their families to assure all necessary forms are completed.
- Respond to inquiry calls from hospital discharge planners, families, and other referral sources.
- Manage the admission process by always maintaining the updated bed availability and facility services information.
Requirements of the Admissions Assistant:
- Demonstrate basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
- Customer Service Oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
