Essential Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to pass Applied Math at level 3
- Must be able to obtain a food handler's card.
- Must have basic knowledge of the fundamentals of cooking and baking.
- Must have basic knowledge in the use of computers and data entry.
- Must be able to read, write, compute, and apply mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Assume responsibility for collecting and washing dishes and silverware.
- Ensure that all dishes and silverware are clean and stored properly at the end of the day.
- Understand and practice high standards of safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Assume responsibility in the daily cleanup of dishwashing machine, dish room, and other assigned areas.
- Communicate and relate well to students and staff.
- Run the a la carte window or cash register during the lunch period when assigned.
- Set up serving lines, serve lunches, and assist in food preparation when assigned.
- Enter lunch usage and payments into Skyward computer program.
- Assume responsibility for other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Willing to learn and assume other lead positions in the kitchen.
- Maintain a record of punctuality, dependability, and consistent attendance.
