LongWings Education is a K-12 education company located in New York. We provide K-12 education courses to our students. Our courses include academic courses and after-school interest-oriented courses such as coding, reading/writing, debate, math, etc.
Our aim is to assist students to achieve their academic success with our state-of-the-art intelligent technology. We have developed an intelligent learning platform to help students overcome their weakness and black holes in the knowledge structure, learn the best strategies for solving problems, and improve their capability through targeted exercises. We are in need of experienced instructors/tutors who are motivated to work with our growing company.
we are looking for qualified public speaking and debate teacher to teach middle school/high school students. The candidates could be university/college students, school teachers or professors, etc. Candidates must have a passion for education and mentoring students.
Public Speaking/Debate Instructor/Coach
Looking for highly skilled, motivated, versatile, dependable, and dynamic individuals with strong communication skills to tutor the following subjects:
* Public Speaking or Debate
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead groups of up to 12 students (age: 5-18) with special needs through curriculum-guided activities;
- Be willing to lead students attend annual public speaking or debate contest.
- Instruct and monitor students to learn public speaking/ concepts and skills and projects.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures;
- Can provide comprehensive differential diagnosis, assessment, educational planning for students with speech/language/communication disorders.
- Provide direct services to address a wide range of needs i.e. receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, articulation, aural rehabilitation, oral motor intervention, auditory processing, etc.
- Provide speech and language services through a collaborative-trans disciplinary model of intervention and across curriculum.
Requirements
- Bachelor in English Teaching/Public Speaking/Debate/Communication or related major
- Familiar with debate or public speaking techniques and skills
- Excellent teaching skills
- Must have a solid debate/public speaking experience
- MUST BE responsible, punctual, AND cheerful and love children
- Teaching: 4 year (Preferred)
- Fluent in English

Flexible. Weekdays: 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM EST Saturday/Sunday, 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST
