Are you ready to join a remarkable team at Lonza AG? As a Logistics Coordinator in our Greenwood, SC location, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and flawless shipping activities. This is an outstanding opportunity within our ambitious manufacturing team, contributing to our ongoing growth and success.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Review orders pending shipment reports to rigorously determine which orders need to ship
- Prepare orders for warehouse associates to pull and load onto trucks
- Print Certificates of Analysis (C of A) for each customer shipment
- Prepare all necessary paperwork and type master bills of lading
- Confirm and ship all LIG, PAL, PLD, and DHS Licap transfer shipments
- Manage freight payment to ensure payment is rendered to carriers within terms
- Own and manage certain shipping routes, acting as an internal CSR for the customer service team
- Write reports and SOPs as necessary to support shipping activities
Key requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Prior experience in shipping, warehouse, or distribution strongly preferred
- SAP experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to successfully implement processes
- Presence at the site is a requirement
- Must be capable and willing to work extended hours, days, weekends, and holidays as necessary to support the business
- Proven experience in logistics coordination within a manufacturing environment
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills
