The E&A Project Technician is responsible for the flawless execution and maintenance of installations assigned to them. This role requires a proven ability to lead and maintain E&A systems while collaborating closely with other departments and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Your tasks can be summarized in the following points:
- Ensuring the smooth operation of installations and upgrades of existing machines
- Quickly and efficiently solving problems that occur, including troubleshooting and failure analysis
- Managing and maintaining E&A systems, including documentation, drawings, and diagrams
- Safely working with voltages ranging from 5 Vdc to 480 Vac
- Committing to work 40 hours a week, including potential weekends and holidays, with additional hours as needed
- Identifying, selecting, and testing new technologies
- Introducing existing and new systems on the installations
- Developing and installing maintenance and improvement strategies for machinery in collaboration with collaborators
- Developing and installing smaller E&A projects, including necessary communication and training
- Bridging internal departments and other plants
- Providing program (code) change support when required
- Applying OSHA and NEC codes at all times
- Climbing and working from ladders, lifting, and carrying objects weighing 30 to 50 pounds
- Maintaining inventory of electronic parts for maintenance and project purposes
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Respecting timing and budgets
Required:
- Associates Degree preferred in Electronics or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills
- Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
- High-level troubleshooting abilities
- Sets a remarkable standard in task completion
