This role offers an exciting opportunity to work as an Infrastructure Systems Engineer, supporting our operations with state-of-the-art computerized systems infrastructure tailored for process automation and quality control laboratory systems. You will become a vital technical resource for our operations, ensuring systems are designed and function to meet production needs.
Location : Portsmouth, NH Hybrid (2 days / week remote after onsite training is complete)
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify potential issues or technical challenges and work on solutions with guidance from your supervisor.
- Assist in planning and executing plant projects that involve computerized infrastructure updates and process enhancements.
- Provide comprehensive infrastructure support, covering servers, networks, workstations, storage, and client devices for Automation, Business Analytics, Quality Control, and other information systems critical to operations.
- Ensure system integrity while identifying areas for performance and security enhancements.
- Leverage system documentation and collaborate with colleagues and support contracts to resolve complex problems.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to offer after-hours support to address issues outside of regular business hours.
- Stay informed about new methodologies relevant to information systems and confidently introduce them with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to designing new applications and solutions that enhance operational efficiencies.
- Execute test scripts, including design and simulation, with support from your supervisor.
- Take ownership of change requests and engage in all aspects of the change control system.
- Learn and comply with 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.
- Support the Quality department in deviation investigations.
- Act as a representative in Root Cause Analyses as part of the Operations Information Systems team.
- Review and revise operational SOPs, Functional Specifications, and work instructions following CAPA, equipment or process changes, and error prevention efforts.
- Remain current on all assigned training initiatives.
Key Requirements :
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. Ideal fields of study include Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering discipline.
