Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a QC Analyst I in our Raw Materials department to conduct analytical testing of raw materials per cGMP/SOPs.
The schedule for this position is Sunday-Wednesday 8AM-6:30PM
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and niche raw material testing (including IR/Raman spectroscopy, wet chemistry analysis, titrations, HPLC and GC) according to Standard Operating Procedures and Pharmacopoeia methods, in compliance with cGMP.
Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification of test methods and new instruments.
Prepare sample shipments and submission paperwork for contract laboratory testing. Review data from contract labs for cGMP compliance in the LIMS system.
Record, analyze, and review all data related to testing and perform project-related tasks with general instructions.
Write OOS (Out of Specification) and deviation investigations, change controls, and CAPAs.
Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), validation, qualification, and verification protocols and reports for test methods.
Perform general lab support activities such as housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and inventory/ordering of supplies. Maintain compliance with all required training.
Train other analysts.
Key Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required, in Chemistry or related science fields preferred.
Working experience within the cGMP industry (preferred).
