Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences tailored to the needs of each child, including those with special educational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Utilize various teaching methods, including Montessori and early intervention strategies, to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among children.
  • Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods to tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with special education staff to support children with individualized needs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Experience

  • Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development specific to early childhood education.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and early intervention techniques is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience in classroom management strategies that foster a positive learning environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
