Job Overview: This position is responsible for providing operational leadership, direction, and P&L ownership for District 6, which will include Memphis and Jackson TN, Jackson MS, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, New Orleans, and Shreveport LA. The District Vice President is a key member of the Leadership team; the senior operations leader for the designated district, reporting directly to the Region Vice President and assisting the Region Vice President in the overall achievement of short and long-term business and financial goals in an armored environment.
Accountabilities:
Provides overall leadership to the branches to ensure Loomis’ customers service expectations are met and/or exceeded while ensuring process consistency, internal quality, safety and security.
Drives the deployment of productivity and efficiency initiatives to improve operating margins and customer satisfaction.
Ensures alignment and efficient implementation to optimize branch capabilities, processes and improve margins.
Stays up to date on market and competitor trends in order to develop an operational strategy which will help the Company meet its overall business plans and goals.
Provides leadership, direction, and coaching to a team of Branch Managers, CMS Managers, etc. in all areas of management (i.e. leadership, development, etc.).
Leads and promotes the safety and security of all Loomis employees within the district, at all times.
Supports the development for all employees and builds a bench of future operational leaders within the district.
Ensures all branches remain compliant according to Loomis’ client and federal contracts.
Strives for exceptional quality, innovation, value and exceeding customer satisfaction.
Support business developments & innovation activities.
Supports business development activities and participates in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key Financial Institutions; Retail customers; etc.
Reduce the environmental impact of its operations.
Develops, pilots, and implements new CMS offerings and solutions.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Primary Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in either Business, Supply Chain and/or similar field or equivalent industry experience.
Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain and/or similar field, preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience leading logistics and operations.
Minimum of 5 years management experience, required.
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing P/L & KPI’s, required.
Must have proven and clearly demonstrated leadership, business and overall management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and good customer service attitude, is essential.
Must be a skillful communicator who delivers clear and effective communication (i.e. verbal, written, etc.).
Strong facilitation and negotiating skills.
Flexible and adaptable to a demanding and fast-paced work environment.
Ability to pass and maintain all applicable licensing requirements (i.e. firearms, MVR, etc.).
Must have the ability and willingness to travel 40-70%.
