About the Role
This is a role in the Loomis Sayles Human Resources department within the HR Operations Team. The role will work closely with a blended HR/Finance team and will be dedicated full time to the support of Dayforce Human Capital Management system for Loomis Sayles & all domestic and international affiliates. The role will be focused primarily on collecting, analyzing and reporting on data within Dayforce. This role will include maintaining the system’s accuracy, implementing improvements, and acting as a subject matter expert for HR data and system functionalities; essentially providing insights to inform HR decision-making through data analysis. It will require a strong attention to detail, strong knowledge of the features of and comfort with navigating relational databases, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ability to communicate effectively with employees and outside vendors, as well as internal stakeholders in HR and Finance. It is preferred that the candidate have 2 years of relevant experience with HR systems. Generally, the candidate must possess a great attention to detail, be able to handle confidential information, and have strong organization skills. This role is generally expected to be in the Boston office 3 days a week.
About the Team
This individual will be working closely with several individuals who are all based in the Boston office. This role will be closely interacting with the larger Finance and HR group across multiple functions, employees located in the US, UK, Singapore, and Netherlands, as well as outside vendors as needed. The role will be working with multiple systems (i.e. primarily Dayforce, Microsoft and Microsoft Power BI.). The role will report directly to the Director of HR Operations, Systems & Analytics at Loomis Sayles & Co.
Job Responsibilities
Data Management:
Collect and maintain employee data within the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Regularly audit data quality and identify discrepancies for correction.
Develop and implement data cleansing procedures.
Develop and implement data import and export documentation and controls for ongoing file feeds.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate reports and dashboards based on HR data to track key metrics like employee turnover, performance, headcount, and workforce demographics.
Analyze trends and patterns in HR data to identify areas for improvement.
Create customized reports for different stakeholders based on specific needs.
System Administration:
Configure and maintain the HRIS system, including user access, security settings, and system updates.
Implement new features and functionalities within the HRIS system.
Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to HR users.
Project Support:
Collaborate with HR teams on projects related to system upgrades, implementations, or process improvements.
Gather requirements and test new features before deployment.
Consultative Role:
Act as a subject matter expert on the HRIS system, providing training and guidance to HR staff.
Assist in interpreting data and providing insights to support strategic HR decisions.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent required
2 years of experience working in a HRIS capacity
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Suite products is required
Proficiency in data visualization tool(s) is required, experience in Microsoft Power BI is beneficial
Dayforce experience is beneficial
Relevant HRIS Certification (Certified HRIS Professional) can be beneficial
The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple conflicting priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills:

HR Knowledge:
Understanding of core HR functions like recruitment, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
Communication Skills:
Ability to clearly communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Project Management:
Basic project management skills to manage system implementation and upgrades
