Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled food preparer to join our team at Loon Mountain. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prepare all menu items according to prescribed portions and cooking procedures, while exceeding guest expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food for guests and employees by following cooking procedures described in manuals.
- Fills customer requests by arranging chosen food items, adding garnishes, and handing meals to customers.
- Maintains equipment operational by following manufacturers' instructions and established procedures.
- Notifies prep cook of shortages and replenishes food at work station to maintain food line.
- Provides information to customers by answering food preparation questions and resolving special requests.
- Protects customers and employees by adhering to sanitation policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean working area.
- Contributes to team effort by participating in job sharing, safety meetings, and diverse assignments, with a positive and friendly attitude.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
