What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Operations Associate position at Loon Reservation Service?
This position is primarily as a vacation rental housekeeper but will also include work in our in-house laundry for linens and towels.
For Housekeeping, the position entails bringing bags of clean laundry, by van, to condos in the Loon area, making beds, and performing full housekeeping services, including cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas with chemicals, as well as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, removing bagged and tagged dirty linens back to office/laundry, etc.
For Laundry, the position entails washing, drying, folding, weighing, logging, and carrying stacks or bags of sheets and towels, occasionally blankets. Bags can weigh up to 20 lbs.
Hours can vary from 9 am to 3-5 pm, up to seven days a week. Summer weekends are a must, at a minimum, and Sundays are helpful in general. Although we are looking for a full-time housekeeper, with benefits, we would be willing to discuss part-time hours as well.
Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
