Job Location : Fremont, CA (90% travel, travel may fluctuate based on operational needs)
Exempt / Non-Exempt : Exempt
Reporting Structure : : Director of Foodservice
Position Summary
The Foodservice Trainer works close with the Category Managers to implement and maintain foodservice programs at sites. He / she interacts extensively with the Operations Team to provide support for operational excellence, and different projects and day-to-day tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with Category Managers to develop training materials for foodservice programs
- Ability to analyze data to guide store visit scheduling
- Launch new foodservice programs including setup, training, and support first week sales
- Train the Operations Team and ensure programs are well executed including record keeping, inventory management, safe food handling practices, customer service, correct equipment use, and care of equipment
- Visit sites daily to ensure foodservice programs are well executed
- Provide feedback to Category Managers on how to improve programs
- Complete detailed site visit reports summarizing foodservice conditions
- Troubleshoot various foodservice equipment as needed
- Act as a role model for consistent food safety, customer service, sanitation practices and occupational safety
- Any other projects as assigned based on business needs
