Summary
Our client is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead their accounting team and oversee financial operations. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with extensive knowledge of GAAP and a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. This role will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while driving process improvements and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing financial statements.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and professional development.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to support audits and tax filings.
- Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
