About the Job
Loopback Analytics is seeking an experienced Product Manager to oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle for Loopback’s flagship EHR Real World Data product and related services. This role will lead efforts to strengthen Loopback’s market differentiated real world data offering, while also supporting expansion into adjacent products and services. As a key member of Loopback’s product team, this individual will own product strategy and lead the collaboration with data and engineering teams to build new features and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record developing products and features, ideally within the real-world data or broader healthcare technology industry.
Job Duties to Include
- Own product vision, strategy, and roadmap development for Loopback’s core EHR real world data product, ensuring alignment with customer needs and Loopback’s long-term business objectives
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback collection
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features for investment
- Collaborate with data and engineering teams to design, develop, and implement new features or enhancements, including advanced analytics or data curation initiatives
- Drive efforts to identify and source new and distinctive datasets to augment Loopback’s core EHR offering
- Conduct market research to identify trends in the RWD / RWE space, shifts in customer needs and behaviors, and changes in the competitive landscape to inform product decisions
- Work with Sales, Marketing, and CS teams to develop product positioning and go-to-market strategies and tactics
- Spearhead product marketing activities, including campaign strategy, content development, conference support
- Track and monitor product KPIs and value creation
- Coach and mentor growing team of junior product managers
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience with evidence of career progression
- B.A. or B.S. (preferred discipline in biological sciences, data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, business, economics, or similar); MBA highly preferred
- 3 years of product or similar experience, with demonstrated ability to launch and manage new products or major features across the entire product lifecycle
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical or broader life sciences industry; intimate knowledge on customer needs and data & analytics use cases
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle and product management methodologies
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify market trends and translate them into actionable product strategies
- Comfortable working with data, analytical, keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working directly with customers or external stakeholders
- Experience managing people or indirectly leading cross-functional teams a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel to in-person client engagements
