What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Marketing Manager, Clinical Trial Management Software and Clinical Operations position at Verily Life Sciences?
Who We Are

Launched from Google X in 2015, our purpose is to bring the promise of precision health to everyone, every day. We are focused on generating and activating data from a variety of sources, including clinical, social, behavioral and the real world, to arrive at the best solutions for a person based on a comprehensive view of the evidence. Description
Verily is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager with expertise growing and launching solutions in the clinical operations space. This Product Marketing Manager will help craft our Go-To-Market strategy across two solutions :
- The first is Viewpoint CTMS, a state-of-the-art clinical trial management system (CTMS), built for enterprise research sites, which digitizes study protocols and eliminates siloed manual processes to enable more efficient research, higher-quality output and maximum research revenue.
- The second is Verily's Recruit offering, which provides end-to-end, precision recruitment services. Verily engages more diverse, clinically-relevant populations - powered by technology, but delivered with a human touch.
Target customers include both life science companies sponsoring clinical trials as well as clinical sites hosting trials.
In this role, you will serve as the voice of potential customers, define key customer segments and unmet customer needs, spotlight emerging market trends, report on competitor performance, and pressure-test potential product features and concepts (including the potential use of AI / ML). You will also build market sizing analyses (TAM, SAM, SOM) and conduct research to build and refine our pricing strategies.
In short, you will own the Go-To-Market Strategy for Verily's clinical operations and CTMS products- and in doing so collaborate with product and commercial leadership on identifying emerging trends and customer needs, and bring Verily's capabilities to life through compelling and customer-oriented marketing collateral.
The right candidate will bring a "full stack" product marketing skill-set that includes generating buyer insights through primary research, conducting competitive analyses, developing differentiated positioning and messaging, building pricing models and strategies, and developing sales collateral.
You will know how to synthesize data and align product vision and roadmaps with customer and market needs. You will also bring a deep understanding of the life science, pharma, and clinical operations segments. This position reports to the Head of Product Marketing and Market Research.
